HISTORY
Antonio Cattaneo in 1870 established the first forging hammer to Faido exploiting the power of water Piumogna beginning of the production tooling for the local demand. The Company develops later headed by his son Angelo Cattaneo with the provision of means for the excavation of the now emerging Gotthard bahn.

In 1932 his son Fausto Cattaneo purchase the site of the former factory at Lenz Giubiasco creating a huge industry that supports Faido up to 50 years' but also dedicated to works of metallic carpentry. In the early 50 'the plant in absorbing Giubiasco throughout the production.
